Romanian partner demo-days

For two days, on October 7th and 8th, the Research Station for Viticulture and Oenology Murfatlar (SCVM) organised demo-days to promote the ATLAS project. Farmers from Dobrogea (S-E of Romania), students, national and regional authorities participated.

The first day was dedicated to field visits and demonstrations, where the 4 weather stations and the sensors were presented, their role in monitoring the climatic factors, the humidity of the leaves and the soil, at different depths. There were discussions about monitoring the health of vineyards using IoT and about adapting phytosanitary treatment programs based on real-time information received from sensors.

The next day we met in a mixed format, both physically – in the conference room of the institute and online with all interested actors, presenting in detail the ATLAS project and our role in this project as a pilot and as a hub of innovation.
