Gut Derenburg is a farm in Derenburg, Germany, producing cereals, oilseed rape and peas on 1’068ha. The farm is run by Christian Münchhoff and employs 4 people running the farm operations, 1 secretary and several persons supporting during harvest time. The farm is specialised on precision farming and got honoured with several innovation prices.

Farm operations and especially nitrogen efficiency is at very high level and far above normal levels. The farm is also the main test site for N.U. Agrar, one of the biggest farm consulting services in Europe. They are running hundreds of comparative tests on the farm every year.

ROLE WITHIN THE PROJECT: Gut Derenburg is going to run several tests with Yara N-Sensors and variable rate application on their farm and will also test the data management for all their machines and also test the link of ATLAS with the Farm Facts FMIS. The farm will be closely linked to the project team and run several tests and give continuous feedback on results and performance of ATLAS. Klaus Münchhoff is going to talk about results at DLG and using them to create content for DLG Akademie.
